Benefits of Membership
There are two meetings each month a day meeting and a night meeting. Many members attend both meeting, but it is fine to just attend one. The programs are the same, but the sharing and attendees are often different.
Throughout the year the sponsors some workshops. Some are lead by outside teachers, some by members and all are fun.
Each month there is a program on a knitting topic with a presenter skilled or at least knowledgable in the area. Every month’s program is advertised on this website and on Ravelry so that people can plan ahead and do any prep if it is required. Most of our presenters are members with a tip to show, a technique they favor, or a project they think the other members will be interested in learning.
Show and Share
A unique part of every Guild meeting is the opportunity to show and share what you have created and to see what the other members have been working on lately. It is an opportunity to ask questions, show off, share experiences, projects and new knitting related travel opportunities, items and shops.
Dues are $36 per calendar year.
Come to a meeting and bring a check. The first two meetings are free! Download a copy of the membership form, fill it out and bring it or mail it to the treasurer. New member dues are pro-rated depending on the month you join.
