Hi Guild Members,
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the first meeting of the Knitting Guild at the downtown public library. A lot of wonderful things have happened since that fateful day. Many of us have met wonderful new friends. Many of us have traveled together to knitting retreats and conferences. Many of us have gone to Stitches West. Many of us have tried new and challenging projects. Many of us have taught others about knitting. Many of us have “womaned” the guild table at the County Fair. Many of us have entered the fair and have won lots of prizes. Many of us have participated in the annual Knitting In Public Day. Many of us have enjoyed the annual holiday parties where the Night Knitters meet the Diurnal Knitters for gifts, food and festivities. Many of us have taught a lesson at a guild meeting which pushed the boundaries of our comfort zones. Many of us have attended and enjoyed workshops where a professional knitter has come to share her expertise. And, of course, ALL of us have learned so much from each other about the wonderful craft of knitting.
Congratulations to one and all,
