It’s never too early to start thinking about Holiday Knitting. Summer seems to be a perfect time! Start now by sharing some of your past holiday projects. Bring a sample project or pattern to share; at the end of the meeting, we’ll all have a catalog of ideas for projects we can begin now for gift-giving or decorating at the end of the year. Christmas stockings, ornaments, decorations, children’s toys and sweaters, luxury knits, bring it on and let’s get in the mood for the holidays.
No need to bring copies of your pattern to share unless you want to. But make sure you have the title and/or source of the project so we can make a list afterwards with information about how to find the pattern. If you have suggestions for good pattern books for holiday knitting, bring those along too and we’ll add them to the list.
The NIGHT MEETING will be on Tuesday evening, June 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 2500 Soquel Ave.
The DAY MEETING will be on Thursday, June 16, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 at Vintage Faith Church (aka The Abbey), the large brick church at the corner of Mission and Highland.
From Highway 1 North, Highland is the first right after the light at the top of the hill where Highway 1 merges into Mission Street. Parking lot is the first right turn off Highland.
From Highway 1 (Mission Street) South, turn left at the light on Walnut to Escalona. Turn right on Escalona to its end at Highland. Parking lot is across Highland. Enter through the Office; our meeting is straight ahead in The Fireside Room.
Happy [very early!] holidays, and I hope you can make it to one meeting or both.
