This month we will have different meeting programs at the day and night Guild meetings. Pick one, or come to both!
PROTECT YOUR HANDS:
The night meeting will feature Deborah Waller, a physical therapist at PAMF who specializes in hand injuries. She will be giving us a program on how to prevent injuries when knitting. Deborah is a knitter herself so she has a unique insight to the problems encountered by knitters.
KNIT A COIL HAT:
The day meeting will feature our own Margaret Hartmann; she will teach us to make a spiral hat based on her own design. Cleverly incorporating lace with a knit spiral, this hat is worked from the top down in the round on double-pointed needles. The pattern also includes an alternative approach for flat knitting. The pattern will be provided at the meeting.
Bring a skein of yarn, 5 double-pointed needles in a size appropriate for the yarn, and stitch markers. A 16-inch cable needle in the same size can be helpful but is not necessary.
