Hi Knitting Guild members!
This month’s program will focus on cables [both meetings] — a perfect opportunity to try them out, if you haven’t already done so, or to refresh your knowledge. Barbara Scott will do a short “show and tell” about cables and provide a guided opportunity to play with several cable patterns.
In order to be able to participate in the hands-on part of the program, be sure to bring some smooth, light-colored yarn, needles in an appropriate size for your yarn, and a double-pointed needle OR a cable needle.
This month’s NIGHT MEETING will be on Tuesday evening, September 13, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at United Way, 4450 Capitola Road #106, Capitola, on the corner of 45th Ave. and Capitola Rd. Look for a door to the side of the main entrance, since United Way is closed at night.
Interested night meeting folk will also be gathering at IHOP restaurant around 5-5:30 for dinner before the meeting. It’s located at 1549 41st Ave. in the old Tiny’s Restaurant near the corner of 41st Ave. and Capitola Rd.
The DAY MEETING will be on Thursday, September 15, from 10 a.m. to noon at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz, in the meeting room by the gym, toward the back of the complex.
Hope you can make it!
