May 2011 Meeting

Hello knitters,

Have you ever wanted to use a pattern, but found it just wasn’t designed in a size appropriate for the intended wearer? At both meetings this month,  Jessica will offer help with resizing knitting patterns using ratios.

“Learn how to use simple math to take the pattern you love but is the wrong size and make it fit. You’ll learn when the Ratio Rationale works best (and when it doesn’t), find out about new tools and resources, and have an opportunity to test the method out.”

This month’s NIGHT MEETING will be on Tuesday evening, May 10, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fireside Room of the Community Church at 411 Roxas Street in Santa Cruz.

The DAY MEETING will be on Thursday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to noon at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz, in the meeting room by the gym, toward the back of the complex.
