September 2010 Meeting

The Guild has had a program change for this month. (Our previously scheduled programs on substituting yarns are currently scheduled for the October meetings.) September is now SWAP-O-RAMA!

Here’s what Stephanie says about our September Swap events:
Bring at least one skein -(it’s ok to bring small and large shopping bags too). Oddballs are fine, single skeins are fine, larger quantities are fine, needles or hooks, books, patterns (originals) are also all fine. Anything knitting/crochet/spinning-related that needs a new life!

We will each pick a number and then do a few rounds of individual picks in numerical order, then anyone who wants anythingleft can have it. Leftovers donated to charity. It’s a lot of fun!!!

Bring completed projects made from previously swapped yarn!

You may also bring yarn to sell instead of swap. Just be sure to put the price tag on it.

And please, if you are so organized or disciplined that you don’t currently have yarn or knitting paraphernalia you want to get rid of, be sure to come anyway! Who knows what you may find. . .?
