July 2010 Meeting

“Two Socks, Three Ways”
See three different ways to knit two socks at once and eliminate “second sock syndrome” forever.  Jackie will show knitting two socks on two circulars, the Magic Loop Method, and on four dpn’s.  We will spend some time trying out the Magic Loop method.  Homework if you want to play along is to bring two small balls of yarn and a circular needle sized to match the yarn.  The needle should be at least 24 inches long, although 32 inches or longer might be better for a first attempt.  We will be casting on and beginning small socks.”
